Killer Ball
3-Man Series Rules
General:
The Killer Ball Tournament series will
have
5 tournaments.
Points will be awarded to teams placing 1st through 10th
at each tournament. The team with the highest accumulated points from
all 5
tournaments will take the series first place prize.
Series Points:
1st place – 35 points
2nd
place – 32 points
3rd place – 30 points
4th place – 28 points
5th place – 26 points
6th place – 25 points
7th place – 24 points
8th place – 23 points
9th place – 22 points
10th place – 21 points
The final series
prizes:
1st place will be $750
dollars
in Killer
Paintball Gift Certificates.
2nd place will be $300
dollars in
Killer
Paintball Gift Certificates.
Any team playing at least 3 of the
series
tournaments will
receive “Killer Ball Tournament” T-Shirts.
Each individual
tournament
will have its own tournament prizes as well.
If tournaments are
canceled
for any reason, the Series
prizes will be reduced proportionally.
Game rules:
-
The tournament will be a round
robin
style where every
team players every other team once.
-
Games will have a 3 minute time
limit.
-
Games are center flag. The
objective
is to pull the
flag and hang it at your opponent’s starting gate, and elimination of
as many
of your opponent’s players as possible. Maximize
your points.

Any issues with a referees call
are
to be taken up with
the HEAD referee after the end of the game, at the signing of the score
sheet.
Comments can be written on the score sheet if there are disagreements.
*** At
the end
of each game the
team’s captains MUST sign their score sheet before leaving the field,
acknowledging the scoring. Failure to sign the score sheet will be a 3
point penalty
for that game.

No spectator participation. If
spectators are helping a
team, players may be eliminated by the referees.
Game Start
-
Games will be started with a 5
second
warning. “After 5
seconds the ref will blow the whistle or yell Go Go Go! At the start of
the
game, all barrels must be touching the net on the starting gate.
Out
Players
When
you are out:
-
Walk back to behind your
starting
gate, you may not
leave the field until the score sheet is signed by your captain.

Don’t talk to any remaining
players,
or share equipment
or paint. 2-5 point penalties may be assessed and point deducted from
your team
score.
Game End/ Flag hang
The game
is over
when the flag is
hung, or three minutes are over and the whistle is blown.

If an eliminated player
hangs
the flag, the game
is over and no points will be awarded for the hang. After the flag is
hung, the
player must be inspected for hits by the referee to verify that he is a
live
player.

Eliminations

Field speed
-
Chrono speed is 270
f.p.s. Players will be checked at the
Chronograph periodically before games.

Players may be spot checked at
any
time. If a player is
shooting hot on the field they are automatically eliminated.
Equipment
-
Semi-Auto Only. NO
ramping, full auto, reactive, or any other mode but semi-auto. Teams
caught
using other modes will have a 5 point penalty assessed.
-
Players are only to wear up to
2
layers of shirts and
pants. Or one shirt over one paintball chest protector.
-
Games will not be held up for
equipment malfunctions.
Or reloading paint or air….Plan ahead and be ready to play.
Dead zone area
-
No shooting in the dead zone.
-
Barrel bags are required when
not on
the play field.
-
Please try to keep your stuff
picked
up. Bring padlocks
to us the free lockers to protect your valuables.
Un-Sportsman like
conduct:
-
Three Strikes and you’re out
rule
still applies at the
tournament. Keep your team under
control.
-
No contact between players, No
Foul
Language.
-
Intentionally continuing to
shoot a
dead player is poor
sportsmanship and will be a punch.
-
If a player is found to be
cheating.
The offending
player and his nearest teammate will BOTH be called out. (Wiping,
Playing on
after an obvious hit, Dead player taking or sharing equipment).
